Coronado Island Sub-Zero Repair works one narrow strip of land and one class of equipment: built-in and integrated Sub-Zero refrigeration, from the older cottages in Coronado Village to the waterfront houses in the Cays and the newer kitchens at The Shores. An island address changes which part fails first. Inland, built-in refrigeration is worn out by heat, and the calls arrive in waves during a hot spell. Here the temperature stays mild almost all year and the enemy is the air itself. Salt aerosol settles on condenser fins, spade terminals and fan-motor bearings and holds moisture against them long after the day has dried out. The marine layer keeps humidity up, so evaporators take on frost faster and the defrost circuit is asked to do more work on every cycle. Same appliance, different failure, different order of checks.

So that is the order we work in. The lower grille comes off before a meter comes out, because on this island the condenser explains the fault more often than anything else does. You get told what has failed, shown it where the unit allows, and given one price covering parts and labor before any work begins. We fit factory-approved parts, run the system through a full cycle afterwards to confirm it holds, and leave the kitchen the way we found it.
