Terms of Service
The arrangement between you and Coronado Island Sub-Zero Repair when a technician comes out to a Coronado address, written out in full.
What these terms cover
Coronado Island Sub-Zero Repair repairs built-in and professional kitchen equipment for residential customers in Coronado and the surrounding area — diagnosis, repair and maintenance, sub-zero refrigerator repairs and sub-zero freezer repairs included.
Booking a visit
Visits are booked by phone on (858) 375-1585 or through the online booking link. Same-day slots are available most days; which day you get depends on the schedule and on whether the part is already on the van.
Parts
We buy OEM parts, or source them from an authorized supplier when the factory part is unavailable, and fit those. Pattern and refurbished components are available and Coronado Island Sub-Zero Repair does not use them unless you ask and we have agreed in advance.
Money
No work starts without a quote you have agreed, and the quote does not grow afterwards. Payment is taken when the appliance is working, at the end of the visit.
Access to the appliance
The technician works at the appliance rather than in a workshop, so access to the unit, and to the water shut-off where that is relevant, is the customer's side of the arrangement. Someone over 18 has to be at the Coronado address while the work is done.
Before anything is replaced
Coronado Island Sub-Zero Repair prices the repair once the cause is known. If the appliance behaves perfectly while the technician is standing in front of it, that is what you will be told — not a part swap and an invoice.
Our warranty
What Coronado Island Sub-Zero Repair stands behind is the repair it did: the parts supplied, and the labor to fit them, against failure of that component. It does not widen into cover for the whole appliance, for an unrelated fault next year, for misuse or surges, or for another company's subsequent work. One caution worth more than the rest: a unit still inside the factory warranty should go to the manufacturer first, because the sealed system is usually only covered when they do it.
What we are and are not responsible for
We are licensed and insured; ask before the work starts in your Coronado kitchen and you will be given the details. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, manufacturer defects, spoiled food, or problems unrelated to the repair we carried out.
If your plans change
Plans change; Coronado Island Sub-Zero Repair does not bill for that. Cancel or reschedule on the phone any time before dispatch and it costs nothing.
Which law applies
California law governs this agreement, as it governs the work in Coronado.
