Brands we service in Coronado
Coronado kitchens are Sub-Zero kitchens more often than not, but hardly any of them are only Sub-Zero — the refrigeration is one brand, the range is another, and whatever is running out by the water is usually a third.
In the Village the equipment has generally been fitted into a house that predates it by fifty years or more. A built-in refrigerator sits in an opening cut during one remodel, a wall oven in cabinetry from another, so widths are odd, clearances are tight and the ventilation path behind everything is whatever the last contractor could find room for. That is why we work the whole kitchen rather than one badge: a refrigerator that will not hold temperature and the oven wedged into the run beside it are frequently sharing a cabinet that was never built to move air.
At The Shores the footprint has not changed since the towers went up, so those kitchens run to cooktops, wall ovens, refrigeration columns and undercounter units rather than a professional range. On the Cays it goes the other way. The houses have room, the doors stay open to the water, and a good share of what we are called to is outdoors or one step from it — a grill, an ice machine, a beverage center in a bar beside the slip. Same brands, entirely different wear.
Sub-Zero
Built-in refrigeration, freezer columns, wine storage and undercounter units — the line we work on most.
Wolf
Dual-fuel and gas ranges, wall ovens and cooktops. Ignition, temperature drift and convection faults.
Viking
Professional ranges and built-in refrigeration. Glow-bar igniters and oven thermostats are the common wear points.
Thermador
Ranges, induction cooktops, wall ovens and refrigeration columns — the most electronics of the lines we service.
Cove & other premium lines
We also repair Miele, Bosch, GE Monogram, Dacor and Gaggenau equipment in these kitchens.
Reviews
What Coronado customers say
Our range is a Wolf and the oven had been running cool for a while, everything coming out pale and taking longer than the recipe said. They handled it along with the refrigerator on the same visit, which I did not expect from a company with Sub-Zero in the name.
Our built-in Sub-Zero refrigerator stopped working on a Saturday morning. I was worried about the food inside. Sub-Zero Repair Prime sent a technician who arrived within two hours, had the part on hand, and fixed the issue immediately. They truly saved us!" — Sarah L., Coronado, CA
The ice maker in our Sub-Zero unit stopped just before hosting a party. Their round-the-clock service was a lifesaver. The technician was professional, neat, and explained the repair clearly. Fair pricing and excellent skill; highly recommended for Coronado residents." — Michael B., Coronado, CA
