Four things get a Coronado call moving: which compartment is wrong, when it started, any code showing on the display, and the model number if you can reach the plate — usually on the upper left interior wall of the fresh-food compartment on a built-in, or behind the base grille on an undercounter unit. Then one more that only matters here. Tell us where on the island you are and how we reach the kitchen. A Village cottage with an alley behind it, a unit up one of the towers at The Shores, and a house on the Cays are three different arrivals — and on the Cays the machine is frequently not in the kitchen at all, but an ice maker or a beverage center out near the slip.

The phone is answered at any hour, seven days a week, holidays included, and same-day slots are available most days. We call if the bridge or the Strand moves things. On site the machine-compartment grille comes off before anything is quoted, because on Coronado the condenser answers the question more often than the panel does. Whatever we find is priced as one figure covering parts and labor and agreed by you before a tool goes near the machine.
